Anthony Andrade, CPA
Anthony Andrade was born and raised in the farming community of Hollister, California, where his first job was cutting and sorting apricots alongside his brothers and sister at a local farm. This experience helped him learn to be meticulous, thorough, and persistent in getting the job done. These qualities have continued to bring him success in his career in accounting. It also gave him a deep and abiding love for apricots, which (in the form of apricot pie) are one of his favorite foods.
Anthony moved to Fresno to attend California State University, Fresno and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in January 1975. He started working in public accounting in February 1975 and received his CPA license in 1979. He is proud to have served his clients for more than 40 years. He has been married to his wife, Katie, for over 40 years and they have three grown children. He and Katie love spending time with their grandchildren.
Anthony has been a member of the Rotary Club of Fresno since 1982 and currently serves as the treasurer for their foundation. He is proud of the local, national, and international contributions that Rotary has made and plans to spend more time in supporting their endeavors. He also loves to volunteer hours of service to his chapter of the Knights of Columbus, helping to serve the needs of his parish, St. Anthony of Padua in Fresno, and other charitable works of the organization.
During his time off, Anthony enjoys traveling with his wife and family. He has greatly enjoyed his trips to Arizona, Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada. He and Katie also enjoy adventures closer to home, like hiking in national parks. He also values his friends, and their interactions are an important part of his life.
PPC Trivia: Anthony has deep connections to his family. In the summer of 2018, he had the opportunity to take the trip of a lifetime with his family visiting their ancestral home, the island of Faial in the Azores. One of his favorite traditions is spending time with his brothers, sister, nieces and nephews at their annual reunions, where they can reminisce, tell stories, and remember the happy, sad, and funny things they have shared over the years.
